President and founder of Global Medical Alliance LLC, Mr. Zimmer started GMA after recognizing that the medical industry offered little assistance to one of the fastest growing segments in medical sales: Independent Medical Sales Representatives.

Mr. Zimmer has nearly two decades of medical equipment sales and sales management background.  He began his career in the medical industry as an Emergency Medical Technician while still in college and his first position post graduation was for a global fortune 100 medical company selling pharmaceuticals.  The experience he gained helped him to obtain a follow-up sales position with a large privately held surgical implant company, and then he returned back to a different division of the same fortune 100 company for a medical sales position in surgical capital equipment.  He later rounded out his direct medical device sales experience by working for a start-up company selling cancer screening capital equipment to medical laboratories.

After achieving this solid background, Mr. Zimmer took advantage of the opportunity to be Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a small medical company.  There he was able to excel in his executive management duties, growing that company nearly 40 percent in the first three years.  He continued his executive management role as Director of Global Sales and Marketing for a privately held, medium sized radiology product company.  It was there that Mr. Zimmer met one of his GMA co-founders; Ms. Deanna Kane and the foundation for GMA was laid.

Mr. Zimmer not only brings medical sales and executive management experience to GMA, he brings enthusiasm and drive that consistently ranked his sales in the top 5 percent of each organization.  He has been recognized with numerous high profile awards including President Club, Star Award and Sales Representative of the Year.
