SPP Minimum Requirements

Sales Reps: Determine if GMA is right for you!
Ten steps you need to take first

Please review the following ten questions carefully.  If you cannot answer yes (Y) for the first five questions and yes (Y) for at least two of the five remaining questions, we would suggest that you obtain these basic requirements prior to completing the Sales Professional Portfiolio (SPP).

  1. Have you been in the medical industry (non-pharmaceutical) for at least 5 years? Y/N
  2. Have you been an independent medical sales rep for at least one year?  Y/N
  3. Do you possess a current federal tax id number?  Y/N
  4. Do you have a specific market segment (hospitals, nursing homes etc) that you call into?  Y/N
  5. Do you have a name for your company?  Y/N
  6. Do you have business cards with a logo?  Y/N
  7. Does your company have a website?  Y/N 
  8. Do you focus on a limited number of departments (surgery, lab etc)?  Y/N
  9. Have you identified the boundaries of your territory?  Y/N
  10. Did you build your current portfolio based on your previous medical sales experience (i.e. experienced with heart valves and currently selling heart valves or related goods)?  Y/N

If you have met the basic requirements to proceed forward, please complete the SPP
